I'm supposed to be writing college essays. Ha, As If.
Worth a glance or two million:
'Strawberry Swing' Coldplay
'Camilo (The Magician)' Said The Whale
Also, an amazing Anthropologie rug I bought last month:
Thanks for looking!

Man, I suck at this consistency thing. Sorry.
Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!
I hope you have some birthday mousse.
I do not use RhymeZone.com,
I do not use it with my mom.
I will not use it in a box,
I will not use it with a fox.
I will not use RhymeZone.com,
I will not use it, Tom the Mom.
Dang I'm tired. Going to Philly tomorrow-- snow (like I didn't get enough in Vermont)!
In other news:
Oh yeah, you want that in your backyard. Imagine if every cotton plant was like that. My ride to school would look a bit different, that's all I'm saying.

I might have to rename this journal 'Two Somethings Every Other Day.' It has a ring to it.
It's just a quick doodle I did for my tegakie About page. :)
There was an essay in AP English today about death and how we deal with it physically and the emotional effects of those customs. This got me thinking and I, being very into parallelism, came to this conclusion: We do not enter this world in neat, cloth-lined boxes and I do not believe we should leave it that way. Our substance, essentially, comes from dust-- dust and souls. So when our souls carry on to the life beyond, all I want to leave (physically) is a little bit of dust for the next soul. I don't know, cremation just makes much more sense to me. I think I'd like to be scattered. You know, thinking about this isn't as morbid as it should be.

Haha, I've already missed a day.
Make-up for yesterday:
"Men do not care how nobly they live, but only how long, although it is within the reach of everyman to live nobly, but within no man's power to live long." Seneca, Epistles
It's 'upward-facing dog' position from yoga. Honestly, I just like forward shoulders. Clouds are fun, too.

Hello, my name is Virginia and I am a person of many interests. I have decided to try to post nearly (maybe, sort of, if I remember, when I'm not slacking off, never) every day. These posts could contain pictures, songs, memories, stories, thoughts, quotes, and everything in between. I couldn't really tell you what to expect. Hope it's something of remote interest!
